Safety Support




People who have experienced sexual harassment, sexual violence, interpersonal (relationship) violence, sexual exploitation, and/or stalking may have concerns about their physical and emotional safety. The resources below can help individuals think through safety concerns, create safety plans, and explore options such as a campus no-contact order or protective orders.

Resources provided are not an exhaustive list. Individuals can learn more about their specific options by contacting any of the resources listed.

Gender Violence Services Coordinators (GVSCs) | On Campus | Confidential | M – F 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

  • To schedule a meeting, you may email or call the GVSCs. Dates and times available for drop-in hours in the LGBTQ Center may be found on the GVSC website.  
  • This resource is for students (undergraduate, graduate, professional and doctoral students), employees, and post-doctoral scholars.  
  • Examples of safety measures support: discuss options and resources for safety planning; explore options for no contact orders and protective orders; help request Campus No Contact Order; referral to campus and community resources to pursue protective orders; accompaniment to court.
